I am using the CH32V103 on a custom PCB. Every time I try and program it, WCH-LinkUtility says "Failed,the chip type is not matched or status of chip is wrong!".

I have swapped the chip with the one in my EVT board and it works there, but the chip from that board does not work in my PCB.

The CH32V103 is directly connected to the WCH-LinkE through pin headers.

Hello, if the chip can be downloaded on the EVT board but cannot be downloaded on your board, you can compare and check the hardware of the board. Note that when using LinkE to connect the board, 5V should be connected to 5V or 3.3V should be connected to 3.3V, and 5V should not be connected to 3.3V. Alternatively, you can choose the ISP download method and try downloading it using the WCHISPTool tool.

The WCHISP tool is also giving errors.

Ok I have found solution, I needed to connect vddda to 3.3v thank you.
